La Trattoria

The food is excellent. The service is excellent one of my favorite places to eat at.

Food is good. Difficult getting reservations.

The food here is first class

We are owners at Royal Sands and for years we would make an annual pilgrimage to the Royal Cancun to have a special dinner at La Trattoria.

Last year, I ordered a Pasta Carbonara dish that is traditionally made with guanciale or pancetta (or bacon in a pinch), eggs and parmesan cheese. But what I got was a soupy alfredo sauce. Very disappointing. I promise you that no eggs were harmed in the making of this dish!

There were other disappointments that evening too, so we won’t be going back to La Trattoria. The ambience and service were okay, but the food was definitely substandard.
